Super Easy Coin Case: 余り布のかわいい簡単小銭入れ 作り方 with Fabric Scrap, Tutorial

余り布でできるファスナーなし、口金なし、の簡単小銭入れです。出し入れする口は大きな安全ピンにビーズを通したもので、ワイヤーリングが行き来します。

No zipper, no metal top base, easy coin case to make with fabric scraps! It opens with a sliding ring over bars which is actually two safety pins with beads.

大きく開くので、使いやすいです。昔どこかのお土産で、こんなの持ってたなあ、と思いつきでかなり以前に作ったので少々イビツなところはご容赦ください。ハンドメイドしてると、布がどうしても残って捨てられないのがたまってませんか？ 布小物を作るにも、使えるものを作らないと、ゴミからゴミを生み出すことになってしまいますよね。

作り方を書くと長くなってしまいますが、あっと言う間にできます。

出来上がりサイズは、縦8.5センチ、幅11.5センチです。

The coin case size is 8.5cm x 11.5cm.

材料:

⚫余り布 17cm x 13cm。私はサングラスケースを作った余りの柔らかい合皮を使いました。合皮やビニール、フェルトだとほつれて来ないので簡単です。布の場合はジグザグミシンなどで処理してください。

⚫余り布 4cm x 2cm を2枚。安全ピンと本体をつなぐ布です。

⚫余り布 ほんの少し ボタンをくるむ（5センチ四方あれば十分）のと、スナップと丸カンをつなぐ部分用

⚫余り布 本体スナップの裏に付ける力布（ちからぬの）。

⚫安全ピン 長さ5.5センチのものを2つ

⚫丸カン 直径1.5センチ位かそれ以上。何かに付いていたワイヤーリングを利用しました。

⚫ビーズ 5粒 安全ピンの針が入る大きさの穴が空いているもの

⚫スナップ 1組 大きめ

⚫ボタン 1個 スナップより大きいもの

あまり布の小銭入れを開いた写真です。ガバッと開くので便利です。

安全ピン2本を丸カンが行ったり来たりすることで開け閉めします。

作り方:

①縦長の布の上と下をそれぞれ1cm裏に折り、縫う。ここは小銭入れの口になるところです。縫ったら余分な縫い代を切り取る。

②中表に半分に折って、端をU字型、舟底型に縫う。余分な縫い代を切り取る。

③ビーズを安全ピン1本に通す。私の丸カン、ワイヤーリングは直径が大きくなかったので、安全ピン2本ともビーズを通すには無理でした。大きな丸カンを使えば両方にビーズを通せます。

④安全ピンに4cmx 2cmのあまり布を被せ、本体の口に縫う。上の写真を参考にしてください。

⑤縫い代部分を切った切れ端をリボンの様にして、安全ピンに結ぶ。ボタンに布を被て周りをぐし縫いして絞る。そこにスナップの凸側を付けて、丸カンに別布で縫い付ける。

⑥もう一方のスナップを本体の裏に力布（私はフェルトを使いました）を当てて、縫い付ける。下の写真を参考にしてください。

小銭入れとして作ったんですが、私はマッサージやヨガに行く時持って行き、時計、ピアス、指輪などを入れています。

 

Materials needed:

⚫Fabric scrap 17cm x 13cm. I used soft synthetic leather scrap after making a sunglasses case. It is easier to use synthetic weather, vinyl or felt as they are not required to care the edge.

⚫Fabric scrap. 2 scraps of 4cm x 2cm

⚫Fabric scrap. 5cm x 5cm for wrapping a button and also for connecting a snap and a metal ring

⚫Fabric scrap for backing a snap on the case

⚫2 large safety pins, length of 5.5cm

⚫A metal ring with a diameter of 1.5cm or larger

⚫5 large beads with big enough holes for the safety pin to go through

⚫1 pair of snaps

⚫1 button, bigger than the snap

How to make:

①Fold 1cm on top and bottom of the long fabric and sew. They are the open section of the coin case. Cut the excess seams.

②Fold it into a half with the right side together and sew edge like a bottom of the boat. Cut the excess seams.

③Place the beads into one of safety pins. If your metal ring is large enough, you can put beads on both of pins. Mine was too small to do that.

④Place the fabric of 4cmx 2cm on the pin and sew it onto top of coin case. Please refer to the photo.

⑤Use the cut-out seams and tie them to the pin like a ribbon. Cover the button with a fabric, sew around and pull the thread. Sew a 凸 shaped snap on the button and connect to the metal ring with another piece of fabric scrap.

⑥Sew the other snap on the coin case with a backing fabric for the strength.

Voila!

I made this as a coin case but actually I have been using this for an accessary case when I go to Yoga or massage. You can put your watch, earrings, and a ring altogether. Enjoy!
